Overcoming Procrastination

This might be your biggest enemy on your journey to becoming successful. How often have you thought about something you wanted to do but in the end nothing happened? It could be something as significant as taking the first step to start a business or as minuscule as deciding to go for a run today and putting it off until tomorrow.

Having this kind of mindset is keeping you from succeeding. This way of thinking is the reason you won't get anything done, and that’s why it feels like you're not moving forward.

So why do people procrastinate?

  1. Their drive to delay is higher than their drive to act

  2. Self-control and motivation are weakened

  3. Anxiety & Fear

  4. Delayed outcome

  5. Unclear goals

  6. Low Self-Esteem

This is not everything, but these are the main reasons why people, and probably you too, procrastinate.
